I am familiar with the Bee AND well informed about the work Jesus Artes has done for the turbine, being a GTBA member and having read all the goings on since 1995/96 when all the turbine stuff was in the infancy.

No where did I say anything misleading, I merely stated that not one post here on RCU has been written (that I can find in a search) that describes either the funsonic or the artes bee in action. Therefore, we do not know a whole lot (other than what little I read in RCJI) about them. Didnt put them down, did I? Merely suggested that knowing as little as I do about these engines I vertainly would not want to spend my $$ on them as opposed to something that I have read a LOT about, that people are actually using and giving feedback about.

2.2 pounds and 2 pounds 14 ounces is a difference of 25% in weight. That is 11 ounces difference. Dont know about you but that is an appreciable difference in weight when you are talking about an 11 or 12 pound aircraft. If you dont NEED the extra thrust why carry the extra weight?
