It does seem to me that with fewer places to fly, and the owners of those few places putting their prices up many would-be organisers are getting their fingers burnt. Tends to put a lot of us off doing other things for the hobby.

I do hope that the JMA can turn things around as I would like to rejoin nect year when shall be a bit closer to the activity again!

I help organise a Fun Fly held at RAF Machrihanish. All are welcome (JMA member or not) the event is not strictly for jets, though the majority of the Scottish Jet flyers turn up. One of the few places left 'up north. It may be a bit of a drive but we have superb facilities including 1/4 sq mile of tarmac, security patroled club house with electricty, toilets for the ladies (and showers if you are really brave) May 12th and 13th.
