I was just going by your numbers and the prop that was used. APCs are pretty useless on anything over 18" and tend to spin high numbers with no thrust.

That being said Dries numbers are impressive.. almost too impressive really.. but who knows I dont have one sitting here to really say either way. RPMs are always a hot topic and never cease to amaze me how people who have the same engine get such huge differences. Look at the DA 50 there are numbers people are quoting that are 500 rpms different using the same prop and similar sealevel relations.

The other thing that caught my eye was how you said it when from 6000 - 7000 with 1 tank of gas... unless there is tuning involved between tanks engines just dont do that. Most engines from any brand pick up 200-500 rpms over the coarse of the first 2-5 gallons and thats about it. However since several people have said some higher numbers then I might be considering that yours may have an issue of some sort or is not properly tuned yet.
