Default RE: How do I align servo arms on CX2?

ORIGINAL: Dizzyflyer

To reset the swashplate:

Turn the radio on and center the trim.

Plug in the battery on the heli.

Ensure that the servo arms are parallel with the ground to get maximum control authority. The arm on the left side should face farward, and the arm on the right side should point to the back of the heli. (you may need to unscrew them to reset them)

Ensure that the swashplate is LEVEL when the sticks are released on the radio and trims are centered. Adjust for level by popping the ball link off the swashplate (BE CAREFUL) and twisting the linkages on the control arms. (LEVEL SWASHPLATE = LEVEL FLIGHT).

Hope this helps!

I got the heli back flying again using Vipers method, but it's not quite trimmed as well as it was originally. I couldn't get the arms to go back on perfectly parallel. There is like some knotch or something on the shaft the arms attach to that makes it go a tad above or below parallel. It wouldn't allow me to attach the arms perfectly parallel. So I'll probably have to use your method to fine tune it a little more by adjusting the control arms. Thanks both.
