I would imagine you can get a Pelican case that will fit a T-Rex and radio really well. They're bombproof and come with really good pick-n-pluck foam. Only thing is, they're uber expensive. Course, if you've got $1500 invested in your equipment, it might be worth spending a couple of hundred dollars on a really good hard case.
