I finally located some stick-on lead (Prather brand) and put four 1/4 oz squares (1 oz total) on the front of the firewall, one in each corner. With the battery pushed about halfway into the motor box, just enough to get 2 velcro wraps on it, it balances at about 3" from the leading edge. I have plenty room to move the battery back as I get the plane dialed in.

I got decals on and wheel pants mounted today, so mine is officially ready for maiden flight. Now if it would just quit f*&%$ raining [:@]
