Thanks for your help Albatross1. Do you mean you turned down the hardware acceleration for your sound or video? I sucessfully installed the latest Realtek driver, but the sim is still crashing. I know how to adjust the video hardware acceleration but not the sound.

Where do you fly? I used to fly at the North Vancouver Field but I believe they have closed, and now I am looking to get back in I am looking for a new field.
