How do/did you attach the heat sinks? Was it easy? does Radio Shack have the press-on type?
THe heat sinks have a hole, I just drilled a hole in the aluminum HL heat sink and through-bolted with a 4-40. Make sure to use heat sink paste for good thermal contact. THe stick on types generally have more thermal resistance and I did not see any at RS.
