http://www.thecubden.org/ site on Rib Stitching. I have seen this done in similar ways elsewhere. You end up with strips you glue on like the aluminum, but with out the risk of radio interference.

The 2.4 Ghz radio is still fairly new here in the U.S.A., but seems to be much less prone to interference than other frequency bands. Don't know if it is availible in Europe yet.
