ORIGINAL: Robotech
I've had FS One for a few days now and I have to say I love it.
I am having one perplexing problem though. I set up two of my TX's on it. A Hitec 4 channel and my Futaba 9CAP. The hitec was a breeze but I have run into a problem with the 9CAP. All of the Axis assignments are correct, the D/R and switches are correct but for some reason I cannot get the engine/prop to do anything but spin slowly. If I hit the "J" button on the KB it will momentarily start the engine then quickly go back to a slow spin. It reacts to the throttle stick movement but only from a dead stop to a slow spin like the engine won't start. ( maybe a DA 100 problem

) I have callibrated it several times and all the sliders are centered and I get full movement of the slider with the throttle stick. Also when I view the servo in the TX editor the arm is moving the full range. I have also deleted the configuration file for the controller several times and started from scratch but it always ends up the same.
I am making do with the Hitec 4ch but I would really rather use my 9CAP as this is the TX I use for my "real" planes.
I find that the Edge 540 flies pretty true to it's real counterpart which I own ( see Avatar ). Especially after loading the new .cfg files available from FS One. You guys at FS One are doing one heck of a job and are to be highly commended.
Any thoughts or ideas on the throttle problem?
Thanks.
We have an FAQ on setting up the 9CAP here:

Does this help/get you going? You've described the problem well, and it is weird that it's not working. Let me know if you still have problems.
Also, the feedback on the tweaked Edge 540 is very helpful. I couple of people got me thinking about some changes, but I've not heard back from anyone on the tweaks until now. Anyone else own the H9 Edge 540 and have experience w/ hovering and try out the new .cfg file in the sim?
