Default RE: Question about, Voltage regulator.

Ok I'm gonna throw out a question about another brand regulator.
I purhcased one from Radio South ( and yes I will forward this question to Tony if need be. But I too am confused about the hook-up.

I got the one with the switch. so I plugged the lipo into the only male plug that it would mate to. There is a female( such as the plug at the end of your servo lead) then there is the wire to the switch and coming off the other side of the switch is another lead with another female plug. I thought that would go to the RX but then I read 8.? volts. so I plugged the lead from the regulator into the RX & I read 5.8V( 5.6vregulator, not a 6v). It apears to be working correctly , so now to my question . Is the extra lead coming off the back side of the switch just for checking the voltage of the battery, as it apprears to read the exact voltage of the lipo?

thanks for the help

Jim I would have purchased your product but I was already on the phone with Tony about a donation from LARKS(myclub) to the club in Florida that was damaged by the Tornado and it was just to convenient to ask him to send me the regulator.
