On further searching it seems that the cs 3916 engine is made by Dolmar. I will wind up using this saw to replace my 15 year old Poulan 2.0 CID saw. It is hard to start now anyway. In the mean time I picked up a used Echo cs -3900 on e---. Sorry for your trouble. Next time I will not be in such a hurry to notify you.
