hi all sorry if i caused any confusion with my question. first the gain signal wire on the 401 is yellow and i know it has to be connected to a channel to get the 401 into hh mode. I am trying to figure out what the orange wire that is from the 3-1 actually does so i can decide what to do with it. i will try it with out the orange wire hooked up and the gyro signal in the ch 5 slot. I am assuming that the order of channels in the oem rx are the same as futaba because all other functions work as of now. . the servos are in 1-2-6 and the 3-1 is in 3 and the main gyro plug is in 4. I know that i have to put the switching (yellow ) wire in 5 but am wondering what to do with the orange wire from the 3-1 which i assume is the signal imput for tail speed.

the main reason i am doing this is i had a 401 and didnt want to buy a 240 if i didnt have to . I also like to tinker i guess. Thanks for any help you can provide
