Ive had to disassemble the brake pads, remove the little brass plunger so I could slide out the shaft that connects to the linkage. I had driven in the snow a lot and it was so sticky the shaft wasnt moving to engage the plunger. Cleaned it up and added some oil and it now works alot better. Something to check and if you have a long screwdriver and an angled S type screwdriver it can be done with only 3 screws removed.
