Hey Wick, I found I need to keep the gain real low to keep the tail from twitching. I wondered about interference at first too but try turning your gain down and the tail should settle in. The manual says you can adjust the gain without having to reset the 4 in 1 but as a habit I always power down before changing any of the settings.
