Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

My MT2 has been out of action for two weeks. I was in the initial stages of my new engine break-in (O.S .18 CV-RX) with my new diffs when the drive just jammed.

Fearing that my diffs have messed up, I haven't used the car since then (been too busy to check it out and I've just had a new 'proper' car too, so that's been having all my attention).

Anyway, being Sunday, it was a good day to check the diffs. Before I took them apart I had a good look at the car an lo and behold, there was a small piece of tarmac jammed inside one of the teeth of the spur gear preventing the clutch bell gear meshing with it. Such a simple problem, and such a simple solution. I just dug the tarmac out with a screw driver.

Looking forward to continuing the on-road break-in of my new engine this afternoon (hope the weather holds).
