he's using the century gear with auto rotation (the one I wanted but LHS was out of stock).... also, the length of the shafts look to be the same size, however with that extra plastic stage, it keeps the shaft from sliding all the up.... this will also lower the swashplate and entire head assembly, because now the retaining pin hole is lower...

hmm, thinking now.... it may be best to dremel the excess and get the gear to fit closer to stock...

yes, definately addicted. I love the yellow look because it's easier to see flying.
