Default RE: gy 401 on axe

ORIGINAL: terb0

i still have the 3-1 hooked up as described from helimax and i am using a seperate esc for the tail motor. I did everything that the helimax hop-up instructions say to do . i just need to figure out how to get my 401 into hh while still trying to not totally lose the tail mixing from the 3-1 if that is possible. tom

Tom,

I don't think you understand that you don't need any mixing because the 401 gyro will do it for you now. The only thing the 3-1 will do now is act like an ESC for the main motor. There shouldn't be anything connected to the wires coming OUT of the 3-1 that previously went to the tail motor.

Got any pictures of what you need explained?

Looking back at what you wrote, the orange wire is no longer needed from the 3-1. You want to know what to do with it, remove it.(or cover it with electical tape)
