Default RE: ParkZone NEW FW-190 Butcher Bird

Got my wings on a GWS tigermoth, and built a "Super Dooper Cub" (HZ Super Cub with my own gear and brushless setup that sports alerons).

So I thought I was ready for a FW-190.

After reading the thread and discovering that hand launching can be tricky I mounted landing gear (thanks roushd1r... right on with the Landig Gear! Big Help!). Went ahead and added the nose weight and got her to balanced on the bubble, then had my maden! She flew tail heavy, so I brought her down thankfully to to a nice soft landing! On my second attempt I slid the battery as far forward as it would go and got her a little nose heavy. Much better, no more roller costing, but very sluggish, I had to run at 90% + to keep it in the air! So I wedged in a Vampower 11.1/ 1340 lipo... man what a difference! Now it flies with authority! Just wanted to share... Great Plane!
