Wow! Just got my $100 ebay rex kit - just a 450xl hde but I'm impressed. Don't know what I was expecting but it was new unopened and came the the bling aluminum carrying case. I found an Xcopter motor and speed control for $30 shipped and am saving for the cf cde frame set for $76. Once I have that and the servo's I can start assembling. I will need a swashplate for the cde conversion and I should have something close to a 450sa with cf frame for $240 or so plus radio equip. and batteries (I think, still much to learn though).

I might stop by the lhs on the way home for more stock CP parts - another frame, some main shafts and tail stands so I can keep tinkering with these parts birds in between flights. Got a frame put together last night with motor, shaft and skids. Needs radio equipment and the rotor head checked and reassembled tonight.
