I am on the fence about removing the skeg from the strut. I think it's causing the twitchyness in the turns. The line between a smooth ark and a spinout is paper thin. It's a risky move to grind it off with ose down untill the 2nd. It would put me out of the water.
I don't have experience with cats (just monos) so this may be all wrong...but it seems that your turn fins should be angled out a bit more instead of straight vertical. I know it's not a V hull and it can't lean into a turn like a V can but it would seem to make sense that there would be some lean. Just a thought.
