Ditto...Don't take it out and throw it into the air, you won't like the results. Simulators are only about 65% realizm...remember that. I can do stuff on a simulator that experts do with real ones BUT...I can hover real ones pretty decient and that's about it. Real ones are way different because real life conditions and forces acting on your model cannot be accurately put into a computer simulator unless it's VERY expensive (like the simulator the airlines and military use). Go step by step. We on this thread will turn you on to RADDs school of flight and give you pointers as you need them. Some people take a long while just to hover, others progress quick. It's the learning curve thing. Getting a decient bird out of the box helps (RICK).

The CP part of the heli does make it better to fly in wind, and it also makes it aerobatic... but over all it's probably easier to fly an FP (fixed pitch)
