Default RE: Lanier 106" Husky

ORIGINAL: Yak18

Goldberg/Lanier products ARE overpriced IMHO. Compare it to other very nice and complicated ARFs from TF; Staggerwing $449. Cessna 310 $499.00. Then there are the new large Cox Wacos and T-28s $399-450. At over $800 for a 1/4 scale monoplane, Lanier is way overpriced in this category.

Yak

As was their 30% Ultimate bipe. Over priced at something like $850 when it first came out a few years ago.

Funny thing--the parts didn't fit and word got out amonst us modelers. Nobody bought them after that.

Tower liquidated their last stock for $400+/-

Crystal Ball sitting on the table in front of me. Hands tightly clasped around the ball as I look through a tiny hole near my thumbs.

I'll hold out for the Husky. It'll be $300 in a couple years. They (Lanier) will only import one container of these. A few thousand planes at most. Tower will liquidate them starting in early February of 2009.

Unless you just GOTTA have it RIGHT NOW--wait. Patience young grasshopper.
