I got my replacement pipe from the LHS. Mine broke half way between the head and the muffler?? Must be inferior metal. The application was a Hobbico extra and the entire exhaust was outside the cowling??
Was your engine new? Mine was under warranty so OS replaced it free.

Not sure about the smoke performance. But sure like the power it delivers.
