Default RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP

Zoo are you using a cell balancer when you charge?

I got out the CP after flying the TRex for a while and WOW what a POS squirl the CP is compared to the TRex! However the CP is really better for the confines of my parking lot. What seperate gyro/Rx/2 or 3 in one have you had luck with using the stock Tx?

Hi all. Was beginning to think the thread had died. Resurrection!!!! I used a cell balancer one time, that was the first time I lost a lipo and realized that my charger isn't compatable with the balancer. I have used one with success on my son-in-laws Triton. My bad luck has been with the middle cell overheating while in flight.

My BCP is pretty much a pro except for the 4-in-1. Also the DD tail. I only flew it a few times with the stock Tx, I use a Futaba 7CHP. It flies much better when you can set your own curves and add some expo. I actually have all the parts to go full separates, BL motors, esc's and gyro, but the original motors are still doing fine and it flies well enough so I haven't bothered. I have to admit I haven't flown it for about a month because I'm in the middle of building a house and haven't had time to play.

My rex is a stock HDE (mechanical mixer) About the only upgrades are metal mixers and blade grips. It is tremendously easier to fly than the BCP, but I know that has a lot to do with it's larger size (better in wind) and the HH gyro. I use primarily 335 blades for easy hovering and just putting around.

I also fly gas and electric planks and am attempting to find time to get my 30 size bird up and running again. No time, no time.
