Go for it! I just got a Cessna 310Q kit on the way, but have seen a friend's, (one of the early prototypes) and it's awesome. All parts laser cut, accurate, and the parts even have wicking holes (for CA) cut in- how cool is that!. Due to allergy concerns and personal preferance, I'll be using titebond. Plan and instructions are on CD, and are well thought out and drawn. The final version of this kit took 18 builds to get "just right", so I hear. The price is a little steep at $179, but I think it's worth it for what you get.

I'm planning to do a full build article here on my 310Q starting in the next week or two, lotsa pictures.
(I'll have to clean off the workbench first. [:'(] )
