If your only getting 6-7 minutes of hover time, you've got something wrong somewhere. Unless your battery is just going on ya.
A few things to check... Pitch, if to high, it will cause unduely stress on the motor and draw more current. Main shaft and motor pinion mesh, if to tight, also, stress. Lubricate the main shaft bearings with 3n1 oils or similar. I use teflon spray, made by Dupont, works good.

What is the best Lipo upgrade for longer flight times? I am just in the hovering stage of learning. I can hover a full pack now but would like to hover a full pack for longer
. I have the brushless upgrade as well as a DD tail. I am getting around 6-7 min of hover time before my lipo meter will start to show red led's. So what is the best battery choice for getting longer flights?
