Default RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

SuperSkids...gotem today. I put them on and I had to re-set everything. Trims, gain, pot, main blade pitch...everything. Changes weight and balance and moves the CG. Don't need training wheels with them though because of the wider stance.
Superskid initial observsations:

Pros:
* Wider stance
* More solid construction
* negates use of "training wheels"
* Look pretty nice.
* keeps the tail rotor out of the grass

Cons:

* weight...they're heavy
* poor assembly pictures or not enough close-up's
* assembly discription not accurate for tail vertical and horizontal stabs (if you follow the directions, you could break them by spreading them to get them onto the tail boom.
* excess flash left in the holes that had to be cleaned out before you could slide the skids through them.

My overall opinion...Good for learning to hover and slow forward flight but bad for fast flight/manuvers. The weight helps deplete my 11.1v 800mha batteries quite fast. I had to shallow my main blade pitch after I installed them to gain higher head speed to improve stability back to where I had it with the stock skids. Basically, they are $25 training wheels that look pretty, and they'll take a beating without failing. Out of 5 stars, I rate them at about 3 stars.
This is JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION...your results may vary.
