I'm in support of making all-metal trucks, but I can also appreciate the comments on practicality. It is true that the alloy parts are strong, but the weight and lack of flex in some metals doesn't seem to be conducive to a long life. I really think that a combination of some plastic and some metal is the way to go for anything that will compete. For a project or just a challenge, a metal truck is pretty cool.
