That is purdy, but confusing to me.

The suspension and drivetrain looks pretty straight forward but what is the fuel tubing for?

Now to stay on topic:
I look for flexibility in a platform. I stink on the track, so I try to pride myself on my personal customizations, so a flexible platform is what I am always looking for. Basically something that allows for vast modifications (pan and plate chassis that let you decide where you want to put things).
