You're on the right track. Change to a 12.25 x 3.75 APC prop though. Check the balance point and move it to the rear of the CG range as shown on the plans. Balance the wing laterally (this is missed most often and makes the plane a lot harder to hover as it makes it fall off to the side). Set the control throws to 45 degrees throw in both directions for elevator and rudder. Use about 50% expo to start. Some use even more however this works well for me. The SE used as my avitar has over 300 flights and currently has an Irvine 53 which makes it easier to hover. The 46 used originally would have performed better had the prop mentioned above available.
