I have a T-Rex 450SA setup with:

Align 325 Red blades (wood)
Futaba 6ex PCM radio
HS65-HB's on cyclic
Futaba 3107 on the Tail
Align 500x Gyro
Align 3350KV Motor
11T Pinion
Align 35A ESC
2x Thunder Power 2100MAh 3S 15C
2x Mega Power 2100MAh 3S 15C
Home brew LiPo Alarm (audible)
SE Aluminum Tail and Tail Supports
All Aluminum Swash Plate

This setup works well for me. I am not doing any 3D, just flying circuits. It's dead solid stable and handles and tracks perfect. The Motor and ESC are cool to the touch after running the battery from a full charge down to 10v and the LiPo is warm not hot.
