Not really been here that long myself.
Have to say that this is one of if not the most friendliest and helpfull forums about tanks.
Not seen much on here about the larger scales so far so the more who join up with them the better.
There is a forum in the UK (not sure if I'm allowed to say on here which one) that mainly has members with 1/8 and 1/6 scale tanks.

One thing I think everone likes (including me) on this forum is pictures of your tanks.If you do get a Chally2 be sure to show us.
