I emailed Scaleaero (
http://www.scaleaero.com/cockpit_kits.htm ) about their 1/6 P-51 Dynaflite cockpit kit for $37. Ed emailed me the following picture. It look pretty good and I think I might order it for this plane. He has a lot of other, more detailed and more expensive cockpits, but this one should suit me fine. Scaleaero also sells Flitemetal.

Here is the 1/5.5 standard P-51 cockpit kit used in the Platt and all the 1/6th ARFs.
It has detail without the higher price of the Deluxe cockpits with lots of resin details.
