great news Larry! Let's see the progress when the season develops. I don't fly contest (yet!), but I found this actually my first plane where throttle management is really necessary!! So, same experience.
One thing I found when going up for a square loop that the plane breaks out of the up line (one wing stalling) when going in too slow. It is really nice though flying up and then see the plane accelerating on the upline!! My next step is upgrading the plane on the connecting rods for control surfaces (I think there is too much play now) and using pull-pull for the elevator control from servo to the ball crank. I am only doing this since I REALLY like the performance sofar. Once done and test flown I will let you know the results.
