Default RE: New Member and planing on buying a Nitro car

you're not making sense and your friends suck at driving.

I'm not saying elec is always faster than nitro. right now, my YOk is hella slow. My TC4 is a beast, but it rarely slides. What I'm saying is that you keep saying Nitro is faster, as if that's your main argument, when that's not always the case. And we use ABS because it's cheap and durable. I have a few pairs of Yok single and double rings that have good traction. However, they're a bit pricey to just be bashing around the concrete all the time.

As far as your angles and your friends, any GOOD drifter can do what you do with electric. If they've been doin it for years and still can't pull off a good corner sweep or bump a rail or something without tailing out, then they need WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more practice.

I'm not bashing your nitro. Like I said, if you enjoy it, then keep with it. What I'm saying is it's not faster nor is it more capable. The drifts an ep car can pull off aren't due to balance. It's due to the fact that it doesn't need as much space to run so it can pull of more on a tight and technical coarse.
