If you are going out with the intention of being a top contender for race wins consistently I think it would be hard for many to put a definate stamp on the M1 for the win. This is due to the fact that so few have them or are familiar with TM at all. They also have yet to have a MAJOR international race series position...which would grab more peoples attention. Take note however that one of them was recently run in the U.K National championships and was contending for the top spot most of the time...this included squaring off against some other FULL factory drivers. The M1 was piloted by (Crompton if i rmbr correctly) some1 who was obviously a great racer...but I know not much else. He is affiliated with TM though, may be the distributor. Either way, late i nthe race he got i na major tangle and damaged the car and began falling back. Still grabbed 5th.....1st went to a new RC8!
TM also has magnificent customer support as mentioned by TGreg. They are smaller as well so they really try and keep touch with the consumer, they also have AWESOME style which IMO is important too if you are not worrying about winning the main every time

. TM even released what they called the "spares pack" which fixes many of the original issues with the buggy and then makes some running improvements along the way.....at no cost to the customer.
If you want a very original design with good customer support (if you are i nthe States you will have to go through Trinity for some things I believe [X(] ) and stand out from the crowd....this would be a shoe in. Performance wise however...still has something to prove...but great potential is there.
Anyway, just my 2% of the $. This machine looks interesting.
