Default RE: axe cp thread

ORIGINAL: Johnny_Zero

I had a strange thing happen the other night. I was moving my AXE holding it by the head and the main motor tried to start spining. I droped the heli from about 3 feet and it survived without any damage. I checked my battery voltage and it was still holding at 11.4 volts (this was on a 11.1 volt Lipo). It also did the same thing to me today on the stock battery. I trird a hover and it performed ok. I was just wondering if this is a problem I should be worried about. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Wow - I had the same thing happen and I am running DX6. I had to put the Throttle Trim down to -8 before I could safely know the mains won't spin with the stick all the way down.

Push the stick up just one detent and she spins up good. I don't like it but I am aware of the safety issue and am working around it.

Andybody else get main motor grief even when the stick is all the way down?
