To handofdume......so what did you have to do? Send the heli back to Heli-Max? It looks like that's what I will have to do as the LHS doesn't want to deal with it. That is one LHS that I will never pruchase a radio, engine, heli, or plane from again. I have only had the AXE for something like 2 weeks or a little more. I have the receipt and everything. Oh well if that is what it take that's what I have to do.
I sent it back to Helimax, it took them a week or so and they sent me a new heli. The new one however had a bad tail motor, when i called them on that they sent me a new tail motor, i got that in 2 days. So far i think there service is pretty good. THey will need a copy of the receipt though so keep that and i also found their service is better on the phone then in emails.

I tried the gy240 with no mods as described in the link i gave you and the results were dissapointing at best. No matter how i set it couldnt get it to work right. Either the tail rotor hauled ass or it didnt move at all. Fortunatly i marked my 3n1 settings before i started so i just removed it and set it back to normal. I do have the ESC that helimax reccomends in the instal pdf so i am going to solder it in this weekend.
