Just found something to help with pull cord string. I used some of the string wax from my compound bow to treat the cord. Just rub the stick on the cord and work it in with your fingers till it's smooth. Reconditions your string and creates abrasion barrier. You can get it at most hunting supply stores in the archery section for a couple of bucks. Happy crankin
