RE: gas fuel with glo plug no ignition
In retrospect, I wonder how those higher compression engines would have worked out with a higher percentage of the glow fuel in the mix? Maybe 50/50?? The increased effective octane of more methanol might have helped. (Yes, that would have made the oil content richer as well...) Just a thought in passing...
