mrasmm ,
why a 8T pinion? that means increasing the motor speed while decreasing the headspeed. With heavier blades (Plastic, ect) wouldn't you actually want to increase headspeed.......... ie: 10 or 11 tooth pinion?
That is assuming you are running Plastic or Fiber blades.......... Am I confused and missed a point somewhere? You have always been a fact and informative source......... I am actually afraid to dispute your observations............ don't shoot me too hard......TY

hrm... that is what I was running (and super skids), and I didn't realize what a load that was on the motor until I swapped it out for some lighter blades. That probably wont fix your problem, but it's something to think about. I'm going to be switching to a 8T pinion... I just picked it up today.

I wonder what your battery resistance is? If you have a way to measure that....

Did you say that your batteries work in your friends chopper?

I dunno... there just aren't alot of answers... seems like we've covered just about anything that could be wrong with the heli... so either we've skipped over something, or who knows what the problem is =(

did you find anything out with the dual tail?
