Trim solvent will work on ultracote. The "NO HEAT" brand specifies on the label--will work with ultracote or monocote, so saying Ultra over plastic film wont' work is non-sense. However, I don't know if ammonia alone will cure the ultracote glue. Don't know about acetone either. I just buy the No heat and it all works great!!!
