I am talking about the tx, if I use 8 aa batteries at 1.5 volts it would be around 12 volts. if the 9.6 battery peaks at 10.7 wouldnt this be close enough? I use a hump pack for the rx, I am just looking to get a better setup for the tx, I just dont want to fry anything doing this. Are you saying people use a 9 volt on the rx? wouldnt that be a bit much?
