FF, You bring up a point I had not considered, the wing getting pumped up through the slots. A couple of fairings would help with that. These 11 oz. planes when they land don't ever find dirt [unless you hit a mole hill], so the linkage on bottom will be OK. The main concern is heat transfer from the pipe to the radio compartment and also keeping the fuel cell padded so high frequency vibration doen't work pin holes into the fuel bladder. Even though this engine is running below what it can, the piston is still making 600 trips per second.
