Default RE: brand new pilot would this be a good plane to learn on?

that pts is a sweet plane and it might be ok. i've never had one so i wouldnt know. you need to go and read the threads on this plane. there's a bunch of posts about this plane back when it first came out and all the guys in here that got one talk about how they go and what they're like. do a search for this plane and read up. alot of them say they like it.......i'd buddy up with an experienced pilot for a few flights though....just to be on the safe side. a guy at our field has one and he's still a bit intimidated i think. our club instructor took it up last summer and the fella flew it fine and landed it ok as well. i think he could probably do it ok but he doesnt want to destroy it. eventually, he'll do it...but he's still flying his high wing trainer around and getting used to that. he's doing very well. him and i started last year at the same time. i have a sim and he doesnt. i think this helped me quite a bit. thats what my instructor said too. he was very surprised how quickly i soloed.
