i love that philosophy, it's this time of year that I've got the flying field all to myself because everyone is scared of a little wind.

I have no problem flying in wind with the right plane. I have been known to fly a Diamond Dust in winds of as much as 40 MPH. However, if you knew what a Westerner is you would know why I refuse to maiden it in any real wind. It's a 145" span cabin old timer. Rudder, elevator, throttle only. It's powered by a .91 FS and weighs about 8 lbs.
