Wow, I must be one of the lucky ones. My LHS has knowledgable, friendly staff that are always willing to answer any quick question you may have or give a suggestion as to what fuel to run etc etc. They give a 10% discount to anyone that is a member of the local flying club (
www.cloudclippers.org) or a member of a few other organizations (such as the local high school's Endeavor Academy's AIRSS group [Aerial Imaging Remote Sensing System] or CASA [Creston Aeronautical Space Administration]). I even met someone in the Beginner's forum (for planes) right here on RCU and forwarded him to the LHS here because they sell Omega 10% (for planes) for $9.99-$12.99 a gallon. My other LHS (about 20 miles farther than the first LHS) is pretty much your stereotypical LHS with people there in business to take your money.
