The sail boat sounds really neat Ray, I have liked the thought of doing that but have never even seen an rc one in real life. Are they hard to operate? Though I'm over taxed at work usually, I'll take that over sitting around doing nothing by far. One or two sick days a year to remind me what daytime t.v. is like and I'm ready to go dig ditches if I have to.

My pop has been buying up rc boats off of ebay, most are older kits and some are previously built but abandoned ones needing some work. He has stolen all the electronics off of an RC-10 car I built when I was 15 or 16 for his boats. He told me he already had a nicad and was ready to go, I didn't realize he was talking about my battery from 20 years ago. I think he has succumed to the idea that he might need a new one. His latest build is a PT 109 from a kit, but from what I have seen he has pretty much built it from scratch. Looks pretty good, not sure if he has painted it yet.
