Rollin,
You better get replacement O rings, or you may end up with the rotor T flaring out where the transverse shaft runs through. The rubber absorbs shocks.

TrumpetRapshody,
I made the bars from broiken flybars, 2mm CF rod, and I machined the end ties. You might find tubing that the CF rod makes a snug fit and CA them in, and drill a 2mm hole to fit the cross bars. Maybe I'll jump on the bandwagon and sell battery tray extensions. The rods are practically weightless, and the AL plate is very light. Drilling holes in it will lighten it more. Then the plastic battery tab is less likely to break. I am looking at maybe $15 + S&H for the extension kit.
But, hey, I don't want to go breaking flybars to make the kits, I'd have to buy new stock !
